We exist to bring the gospel of Christ to the people of Eufaula.
We exist to bring the gospel of Christ to the people of Eufaula.
At Grace Bible Church, we are committed to glorifying God by faithfully preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, equipping believers to live out their faith daily, and engaging in acts of love and service that demonstrate God’s love to His church.
We seek to honor God by upholding the authority of Scripture, promoting Biblical truth, practicing meaningful worship, fostering Christian fellowship, and pursuing holiness and obedience to Christ.
Through prayer, discipleship, and evangelism, we strive to make disciples of all nations, trusting in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives with the Gospel.
OUR VALUES
At Grace Bible Church, we recognize the Gospel of Jesus Christ as being the particular and unique reality of the grace of God in this world. The Gospel is that which defines who we are, what we are to value, hold to, and sacrifice for.
ABSOLUTE TRUTH
God has provided us with absolute truth through God’s Word, the Bible, and we are enlightened and equipped in God’s Word of Truth by the work of the Holy Spirit.
We value God’s Word of Truth as it reveals the nature and will of God and His gospel towards us. God’s will for us is to know His Son Jesus Christ who said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6). This truth about Jesus and our salvation through Him is solely the sovereign work of God.
People are only saved by God’s grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed by Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone.
GENUINE WORSHIP
The Gospel unites us to God, and we are therefore compelled to value the worship of God as the church gathers around God’s Word. As a life of faith is lived for the glory and pleasure of God, that life becomes one of Genuine Worship.
Genuine Worship may have a variety of expressions, corporately and privately, such as sitting under Biblical preaching & teaching, singing, prayer, Bible study, giving Christian testimony and supporting various Christian missions and endeavors. Yet, the intent and motive of all Genuine Worship is to ascribe honor, value and reverence to God in response to Who He really is.
EDIFYING COMMUNITY
The gospel also unites us to one another. We value the community of fellow believers into which God has placed us and by which He calls us His church.
God has purposed and equipped us to live as the church, a place where God intends for us to bear a public testimony of a key attribute of His nature. We are to exhibit the sublime edifying attribute of love for one another. (John 13:35) This means we place a high priority on our opportunities to come together to grow in these interpersonal relationships where Christ is central.
AUTHENTIC MISSION
The gospel is also our mission and message. Jesus sends us—as His church—into the world to make disciples (followers of Jesus) of all nations. We are an evangelical church that seeks to see the Gospel spread locally and globally. We are also an equipping and edifying church that strives to build up and mature people in the faith through clear and dedicated Biblical instruction and practice.
OUR BELIEFS
The purpose of this church shall be to glorify God.
It shall seek to attain this end through the public worship of God, the preaching of the Scriptures, consistent Christian living by its members, personal evangelism, missionary endeavor and Christian education (Ephesians 1:5-14; Colossians 1:9-10; Matthew 5:16; 1 Peter 2:9-12)
We accept the scriptures as our only authority in matters of faith and practice and our interpretation of Bible doctrine leads us inexorably to believe:
The scriptures of the Old and New Testament have being verbally inspired by God, inerrant and infallible in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority.
In one God eternally existing in one essence, yet co-equal persons, the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ was begotten by God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Mary.
In the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He is the life of the believer and He empowers the preaching and teaching of the Gospel.
That mankind was created in the image of God, sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that human beings are born with a sinful nature.
That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood.
In the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into heaven and His present life there as High Priest and Advocate for us.
In the blessed hope, which is the personal, visible and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
That all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God and heirs of eternal life.
In the existence of a personal devil, who is still working in the world to destroy the souls of men and that he and all his angels and all who do not receive Christ as their personal Savior will eternally perish in the lake of fire.
In the Church, whose mission it is to preach the Scriptures to all the world, all of its endeavors being guided by multiple leadership and supported by the wise stewardship of God’s people.
That the ordinances of the Church, given by the Lord, are Baptism and the Lord’s Table (Communion).
Our Ministries
Youth Discipleship
The Youth are involved in all elements of church wide activities to promote learning their roles in the church community at large. They also have a number of occasions throughout the year for Youth-centric activities that are focused on developing Godly relationships with one another as they prepare for adulthood.
Youth Sunday School is for ages 12 & up and starts at 10:00 AM.
Children’s Sunday School Discipleship
The Children’s Ministry at Grace Bible Church teaches the gospel to children ages 3 to 11 years of age. Classes are divided into 3 age groups: 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 to 11.
Each class utilizes the Generations of Grace Curriculum. Generations of Grace helps Sunday School teachers and parents lead kids through the narrative of Scripture, from Genesis through Revelation, outlining God’s redemptive plan. Every week, children in each age range learn from the same passage of Scripture in a way that is appropriate for their respective age levels. A unified curriculum enables families to discuss one passage together each week, reinforcing the lesson children have learned in Sunday School.
Each year the curriculum covers a different section of Scripture. Over a three-year period, each age group will cover the entire Bible. Grace Bible Church prioritizes it’s Children’s Sunday School approach in leading and instructing the children through the entirety of Scripture three times in the nine years of their involvement. Each time they will experience the truth about God’s redemptive plan at a deeper level.
Men’s Breakfast
The men meet in the church fellowship room on the last Saturday of every month at 7:30 AM for breakfast and a time of fellowship and a Bible based teaching and discussion.
It is a rewarding time for men to encourage and build up our friendships with one another. It is also a great opportunity to bring along a friend as it is a very casual time.
Women’s Breakfast
Come join the women of Grace Bible Church for breakfast! A time where we can gather to dive deeper into God’s word, fellowship, and enjoy wonderful food! We come together on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10:00 AM. We’d love for you to join us.
Clothes Closet
The Clothes Closet is a ministry of Grace Bible Church where we seek to provide clothes, shoes and a meal to those in need in our community.
This is a church wide event that is put on several times per year. During the holidays we also incorporate toys, blankets and coats. We use these opportunities to share the love of Christ through the sharing of the gospel.
Prayer Night
The last Sunday night of every month, our congregation meets together at 6:30pm to seek the face of the Lord through prayer, intercede for others and pray for the continual working of the Holy Spirit in the church and the world.
